Calico Studios has moved

For the past few years, Calico Studios has maintained separate studio locations in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley and Virginia's Hampton Roads region. As of June 2011, we relocated permanently to Virginia. Best wishes to all our friends and customers in Pennsylvania. Recent awards and activities

"Contemplation" took first place in the Isle of Wight Art League 2011 members' exhibit and won the People's Choice Award in the November 2011 Renaissance Art Jubilee in Chesapeake VA. "Painting in Pinkham Gardens" (pictured in the Plein Air Landscape section on the portfolio page) won first place in the Hampton Art League Fall 2011 plein air painting event.

Plein air painting

In cooperation with the Isle of Wight Art League, I am coordinating a plein air painting group. We paint at locations throughout the Hampton Roads area. Our work was displayed at the Smithfield library October through December 2011 and several of the paintings are currently available at the Art Center@319 in Smithfield, VA. Please contact me if you wish to participate, view our work, or have the group paint at a specific location or event.
